Well i have a serious problem. In left 4 dead 2 maps like parish bridge finale i like a shit ton. I also have minor lag spikes, etc. All my settings are low. I use game booster.

System Spec's

Vista Home premium HP w1907 model a6230n desktop

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 x2 dual core processor 5600+ 2.80GHz

Memory: 3.00gb

NVIDIA geforce 6150 SE graphics

Nvidia graphics driver 275.33

My laptop is a dual core at 1.6ghz and I can run l4d2. Your computer spec is better than mine in every category and I can run l4d2 just fine.

Try the following:

1.) Enable multicore rendering
2.) Turn off Game Booster (I would get rip of it.)
3.) Shut off anti-virus and every other background processes that you don't need.

Your graphics card does not meet the minimum requirement of an Nvidia 6600 or better. You'll have to upgrade your graphics card to make it playable.

Supported OS: Windows® 7 32/64-bit / Vista 32/64 / XP
Processor: Pentium 4 3.0GHz
Memory: 1 GB for XP / 2GB for Vista
Graphics: DirectX 9 compatible video card with 128 MB, Shader model 2.0. ATI X800, NVidia 6600 or better
Hard Drive: At least 13 GB of free space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

Also, "Lag" only applies to when your latency with the server is high, causing delay. This is an FPS drop.
