The way I see it, is it's best to learn how to not work with mics first, because in the end when you do use mics, you're previous experience will make you much better. If you get what I mean.

I know .
Just because I don't need a mic, or ocean doesn't need a mic, doesn't mean the VAST MAJORITY of players do. I'll even deal with someone who isn't that good if he is talking and he is listening to us and trying.
I'm actually usually really nice. I could list a dozen examples of me treating a bum who was talking really nice when the other two on the team wanted to kick him, got pissed i wouldn't kick him so they both quit, and the guy who is not very good and I pull off the victory. When smoeone sucks and I say - listen dude it's cool, just stick by me I'll help you. And he does it, and he's talking? I'll never kick him even though everyone else wants to because those types of cats, guys who are humble and looking for instruction and leadership, can be much more effective than their experience wuold indicate.
A no mic'r who is average is hopeless.
In general, what, 1/4 of the current l4d2 community is good? Maybe 1/10 very good? (imo, strong community, but I always play w mic'rs and usually start in-lobby so that is where that number comes from).
Guys who quick match into my game?
Lmfao. Like 1/20.

Sorry guys, but nothing positive is coming from this thread.
As Kagato said, don't judge everyone by those that choose to ruin it. Yes, L4D as a co-op game is going to attract more trolls than most, and they're going to be more successful, but those idiots are worth putting up with for the good times.
The easiest solution? Find some friends on here and play with them.
