Dead Island: The replacement for L4D?
I dunno where to put this. But I've gotten really bored of l4d lately. Dead Island is an IDEAL replacement! It's a Fallout/Dead Rising/L4D kinda game. With common and Special infected alike.
Don't get me wrong. I love L4D, but you've gotta admit its beginning to become a bore.

From what I`ve seen of Dead Island, cant say I`m mad keen on it. The walkthrough was boring as you had to stop and pick up money everywhere. To me, that goes against the whole ethos of survival games. Being stuck on an island with flesh eatin zombies, why the hell would you stop to pick up money?
I also hear that the missions you keep getting sent out on, get a little tedious after a while.

There's lots of zombie games ..and these two games are very different.
Dead Island is an ongoing quest, basically a RPG ..where you can kill zombies with your bare fists/feet and your weapons become useless.
If you think that's similar to L4D besides having zombies, then you're crazy. L4D is still fun though. Of course people are going to be busy playing a new game.

They are different first of all.
Dead Island is very realistic also, and the game is hard, I'm like the only person I know completing the game all by myself without any help, and completing it the next day after purchasing it!, thats like a world record!!!!, anyway.
I still play ' Left 4 Dead ' so I wouldn't call it a replacement, their different, Dead Island is a huge game, and you can combine weapons, upgrade, etc, the game is like survival!, and when your by yourself, it's like when are they coming from now!.
