    Getting "No Games Found"...

I'm living in Asia (Taiwan, to be specific). I used to play Scavenge on a nightly basis and there was always a good 5-6 matches going on at any one time.

I'm using a Canadian-bought Xbox (manufactured in the U.S.?). I have it connected directly via Ethernet to the WiFi router. Game itself was purchased in Canada.

All Campaign modes seem to be working. Versus [Realism] matches can be found, albeit sparingly.

I have no problem joining by Invite or a Friend's "Session In Progress." Also there is no lag. Server seems to have massive trouble locating any matches from the main menu.

Is it because the servers are in the U.S.? Is this game dead in Japan (not many people play Scavenge/Versus)?

Or do I need find a copy sold in Asia?

Since you are in Asia you could be a large variable of time away from North America. Your night is possibly our morning, and not as many people play during the early hours; work, school, etc.

If you didn't, it's probably important that you change your location under system settings. Not sure if this affects matchmaking, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

But then why isn't it at least locating Japanese hosts?

Japanese people seem to be playing either Campaign or Versus, but never Scavenge

that's because there isn't alot of let's call it internet traffic passing through Taiwan but if you try to change it to a japanese download region you'll be able to find some Japanese hosted games

same happened here, I've changed my steam download region to Brazil, and after that no games were showing on l4d.

in my opinion, the Steam download region should not affect the server search in l4d, it should be a new server filter (by region / ping)

I use Xbox, not PC version. I've switched my Locale to Japan - doesn't seem to be making any difference.

Maybe Japanese players just don't tend to play Scavenge, I guess.

You are right. The download region has nothing to do with server search. Unfortunately I can't help beyond that verification.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.
