I'm not sure. The PC gets an update every friday. Usually it's just updating the beta maps and changing the mutation. But I've never looked to see how often the 360 updates.

in order to get the expansive content achievements for Left4Dead, start your own server. You keep mashing the A button on start game, and it will eventually auto itself into becoming a local server, a countdown should start. Sometimes my xbox would freeze doing this and I would have to re-invite my friends and try again. But it makes it so the achievements work.

No. This is one minor update to Left 4 Dead 1 (which does not receive updates on most Fridays) on the PC only. The achievement problems will never be fixed. L4D1 will most likely never be updated again on the Xbox 360.

Ah. Didn't notice it was the L4D1 update he was referencing. L4D2 is the one that updates weekly. Sorry about that.

I have every achievement, the mashing A on start game actually works.

Yes, you can use local servers to get them, but they are not officially fixed so that they can easily be obtained (like most other achievements in L4D1).
