Your custom mutation
What mutation would you create?
No matter how hard, easy, fun, crazy, or helpful.
If you want 1000 witches in one chapter, cool.
Only tanks in survival, nice.
Survival or versus with only hunters for training, sweet.
Only boomer spawns in campaign, messy.
It would be significantly easier but, I would like to see a campaign mutation in which each survivor is on permanent adrenaline.
Name: Adrenaline Junkies
Effects: Each survivor has the normal affects of adrenaline and faster reloading.
This would most likely flush out the campaign rushers from normal campaign games as well.

Every common infected is replaced with a spitter. Imagine how much of a pain the Hospital would be.
Every common infected is a Witch, and the survivors have pump shotguns with half ammo and reloads only at saferooms.
Cheap simple mutations, but they'd be an interesting change.

I've always wanted a vs mutation with realism rules where you can pick the SI you want to be everytime you spawn but with longer respawn timers.
Whys its never happen yet... Is beyond me.
I guess too many people cry about the thought of 4 hunters..or 4 chargers...or 4 smokers or 4 what ever.
When the truth is 4 hunters, even in L4D1 was always pretty easy to deal with. And so is 4 of anything really.
This would really open the game up and make it waaay more fun in my opinion. No more having to kill off spitters for me and waste spawns trying to get the SI thats needed for my style and taste, while the survivors make ground.
And after playing like this once on a friends PC and having so much fun with it. I really don't know why we still have to be a slave to the spawning cycle or ai director.
That... And every campaign mutation made as a vs mode with realism rules only. Hunting party, headshot!, gib fest, gnome. What ever...

You could never have 4 hunters in l4d1 either. Three was the most you could spawn. We had a team once that was insanely good though and 3 hunters and a smoker generally meant your team was 4 capped.
I would like to see being able to pick your SI as well. And they could make it so that no more than one of any type could spawn in at any one time. Four (or even three) of anything could make for very short games.

What? It was possible to have 4 hunters. You would have to get 3 hunter 1 smoker, then sacrifice the smoker alone. It's not really a practical tactic though.
Sometimes it would give you 4 hunters as the initial cycle though.
I've also seen 3 players as hunters in versus in l4d2.
