Thread: Interest in Competitive L4D2? (Confogl)

Firstly, this is not a thread to bash confogl so if you dislike and don't want to try it, this thread is not for you.

Myself, Hocus, and Blitz are putting together a competitive team and we will need all the practice we can get. The main servers we will be using are LTD-Ragequit which are only for confogl use.

Basics of Confogl:
- Only Tier 1 weapons. (Uzi's and pump shotguns)

- No health kits or adrenaline shots. Each survivor starts out with a set of pills and there is a chance of more pills throughout the maps.

- A tank will spawn every map. Each player on the team will get to play a tank. It is random who gets what tank.

-Witch spawns are random. Crowning is allowed and a primary tactic. (Crowning: running up to the which and getting a 100% body shot with a pump shotgun. That means every pellet of the shotgun must hit the witch.)

-Health Bonus: Your team will get a significant health bonus depending on how much health each player has and how many make it to the safe room(multiplier effect). If no one makes it to the safe room your team does not get a health bonus.

Yea I asked him if he would like to be apart of the team and he said he was done with the competitive scene. I know there are a few active TPG players who would like to start playing competitively, so I thought I'd ask.

Not saying we are only going to be playing confogl from now on either, TPG will always be our "go to" for RVS games, but thought I'd put this out there for active players.

I'm always down and got some exp.

I would do it. For sure.

I can play as well, but work has me traveling a lot of time recently and can't commit time wise. If I am on and able to play I will.

I'd like to get in on this if possible. played a lot of pro confogl and regular back in the early days of l4d2. Would love to get the practice, too.

If you guys ever need someone to practice against let me know and I can probably round up a crew.
