Thread: What kind of missions you like?

Asianator said something the other night while playing Evolution that really rang true...

Basically he said the map serves as a good multiplayer training aide to get people up to speed with Arma, so that they can actually do the other missions out there.

I have no desire for it to be a map that drives people away from the game, that was why I wanted to know if ebaconjr was irritated or not (his comment could be read either way).

I haven't made up my mind whether I like Evolution. One thing is for sure - it works and it brings in players.

On the other hand, there are a lot of other servers that are running Evolution. So if I ever get a hankering to try it I can with no problem. So far my most fun in ArmA has been playing some smaller missions with no respawn. I enjoy the intensity and having to be careful. Also, if my player dies, it's kind of fun to be seagull and watch the rest of the game and nurse a bier. Bottom line is I'll go along with the map vote. If the resulting map doesn't interest me then I can always log out.

Somehow I just pictured you as the European with a 35 hour workweek, 3 weeks of paid vacation, a town house or condo in the city, one of those ghetto European motorbikes, insanely fast internet, who went out to the pub on the weekends.
