    Dissapointed

Warning: Don't read this if you haven't completed the singleplayer campaign. If you haven't, you should.

Maybe it's just because I have a soft spot for cool secondary characters, but I was a little disoriented in the singleplayer's conclusion. sure, it was epic shooting the bad guy and seeing Kamarov's men rope out of the chopper right in front of you, but honestly, killing Price, Griggs, and Gaz in like 4 seconds? Why do they always have to kill the secondary characters. The game was almost over, so it didn't add any real dramatic effect.
I was disappointed as I saw Paul Jacksons name on the KIA list after the nuke, then filled with hope as you see him alive, and just as quickly he is listed as dead again. I got over this quickly (although I thought a "black Hawk Down" mission might be coming up) But Griggs, Gaz and Price take hit after hit the whole game, getting shot out of the sky, trekking across miles of enemy land, and winning battles against horrible odds. All this to be cut down in the last minute of the game?

No more dead dogs or secondary characters!

At the end a few characters could actually be alive, though it seems unlikely.

Price: Dead. I'm 90% sure that he;s the one who the bad guy shoots in the face with a deagle.

Gaz: last seen receiving CPR from a Russian.

Griggs: He looked dead, but it looked like he only got hit in the shoulder. Probably dead.

It doesn't really matter, but I was still a bit disappointed.

    Thoughts?

    Re: Dissapointed

This is comparable to the CoD 2: Big Red One moment (SPOILER ALERT!) where Brooklyn kicks open a door and is killed by the Krauts. Designers add this element to make you feel attached to these characters, and so when they die, you feel remorse, sadness, and makes the game seem more full, rather than just an empty shooter like Quake or Doom (even though those games were fun anyway). I thought it was pretty sad when the three of them died (except for Griggs, he wasn't a well developed character).

I thought the end was decently done, and was a great way to end the game.

I'd agree. It was hands down the best singleplayer I've ever played. Including all the halo games, COD 2, Morrowind, Oblivion, Delta Force, and Far Cry.

I like how it shows that war is never fair. No matter how much damage you do, no matter how many near death experiences you survive. War is never fair.

Also Graverunner. It was Gaz who was shot in the head with the deagle and it was Price who was receiving CPR.

Go watch Das Boot and then reconsider your evaluation of the sudden, traumatic ending sequence. :P

    Spectacular Bathrooms

Choosing from a large variety of bathroom designs is a tough job. The bathroom designs can be rustic, futuristic, conventional to modern. The rustic designs are for those who wish to combine the rustic appeal of the nature and the minimalist nature of the modern era. The design clubs the natural surrounding with modern furniture, material, surfaces and fixtures.

Modern futuristic designs lie on the opposite end of the spectrum. It is meant for the forward thinking high tech people. This type of design is a bit far fetched and only meant for gadget friendly individuals. If the sound of beeps and electrical bulbs excite you, then this is the design for you. In the between this highly sky-fie design and the rustic earthy design, lies the conventional model of bathroom. Those who like to draw from the past is the traditional design. The design evokes peaceful feelings of childhood or distant images of the by-gone royalty. Another design is for the modern individuals of today. These designs are artistic, elegant and simple with stress on functionality and convenience.

The designs for the bathroom are many and can suit the different requirements of individuals. The ideas for bathroom design have fascinated the creative minds for years. The innovation that has taken place over the years have reinforced that people find bathroom remodeling a necessary part of the house renovation. This is irrespective of whether the family is rich or poor. Designers like the bathroom design uk create designs that are specific and unique in style.
