I'd like to see more realistic weapons. I know L4D ain't all about being realistic, but instead of finding fully auto machine guns just lying around everywhere, I'd like to see some more common guns. I'm thinking lever/bolt action deer rifles, pump/semi auto/double barrel shotguns, revolvers, etc, stuff people actually have. Then just have the fully autos laying around less, like say you come across a dead soldier, then you can get your spray and pray going.
On the other hand, a handheld minigun would be fun too.

the talk of having a sandbox mode yes it sounds fun but l4d isn't the kind of thing that would b easy to make a large map where u basicaly free roam for 2 simple reasons 1.it isn't trying to survive in a certain area it is escaping alive and 2.if you were to free roam starting from nothing how would u survive? if u started with no help ur as good as dead 1 smoker, charger, or hunter could guarentee ur death if u had no help and I don't even want to imagine fighting a tank solo it could get fun once u start getting ppl and finding weapons just the start would b near impossible

I like a bunch of the ideas here, but if anyone is goin to make a free roam game, it aint valve. Rockstar is more likely to do that. I dont wanna play as the l4d1 survivors again. Bill is dead and there on an island They should be finished. if anything I wanna see a dlc for the l4d2 survivors because WE All know they arent safe with the military. This does not need to be in another country that would just be wierd. and what language would they speak, because the chances of 4 survivors from another country all speaking english is well... Impossible. I wanna see 2 new infected, 5 survivors ( 3 guys and 2 girls)
I want a crossbow and flamethrower. and fuck molotovs, i wanna see us using electricity on those sons of bitches oh and there should be special events that require you to drive vehicles ONLY special occasions

Team Deathmatch would ruin L4D3, so that's what I want to be implemented. Cause I don't want L4D3 if it comes out.
I love joining a lobby with preset team of 4 Survivors or Infected with mics who start talking a lot of shit and I end up making them rage quit.

07-17-11, 08:42 PM #69crossbow and flamethrower plus some electricity would b fun. getting to use vehicles would b awesome to but they could also have some military vehicles with machine guns in the campaigns so that if you hear a horde hop in that machine gun till horde is dead then continue on
