Thread: Arma?

ArmA isn't really a game - it's a combat simulator. Multiplayer ArmA is primarily co-op mode. Your team is assigned a mission and you have to complete it. Some missions do not allow respawn. Those that do allow respawn usually make it no fun, i.e. you respawn at the home base and have to hoof it or find a ride back to the action, which is probably a few kilometers away.

There are some missions that feature game modes such as capture the flag or humans vs. humans - but I've never seen them played.

I asked this on the PR forum, but know one has yet to answer, ArmaA looks pretty cool, would like to check it out, is it downloadable, or do I have to keep my eye out for it in stores

I been trying to beat Dark Carnival on expert the past two weeks, almost every day. It's either the server kicks us out on the 4th part or I get disconnected. Today the screen went black on part 3 and I had to shut down. It seems I cannot beat this level cuz I keep getting disconnected one way or the other. It's only for dark carnival too.

I miss the reliability of the old servers before the DLC was released.

Tried local servers?

Are you sure you're getting 1.21 gigawatts to your flux capacitor? I used to have this problem all the time until I upgraded my power supply.

Did this last night with bots. I made it to the closed gate three times and it lost connection on the 3rd attempt. So pissed when it does that at the end cuz it was tough getting to that point.
