I don't think he is a legit player because most of his shots are like impossible to do especially with that .50 cal. He always uses that 50 cal and he zooms in and shoots you within like a half of second and he never plays as a team player cause all he does is just sit back and snipe.

Father Priest plays as a sniper alot in bf2142 and he always communicates with his squad there. I played the other night and got killed by him alot and just thought oh well he's found his nitch with COD4. In 2142 its a bit harder to snipe cause of the openess.

in 2142 its harder to snipe because you need a headshot to kill, otherwise, they run off and find a medic or a box. in cod4 the walls are paper thin and a hit anywhere will kill, even through a wall. (usually... been noticing lag/registry problems lately, could be me or server).

Fatherpriest is definitely legit. I say this because of all the times I've been dead and have specced him when we've been on the same team. He just knows how to play the sniper role.
He also doesn't just sit back and snipe. More often then not he's the one carrying the bomb, capping the flag, or getting the HQ. He communicates as well.
Using primarily one weapon or one weapon type and being very good at it does not make you illegit. If it did, then Biscuit wouldn't be legit because he pwns with the shotty and Agent wouldn't be either because of that M16 of his.

Furthermore, cover sniping can lend itself to teamplay very well if the sniper is focused on protecting the objective while doing so instead of kills. FatherPriest does this as do I and others.

Additionally, getting off the shot in as little time as possible is ideal for any game when sniping. The less time you're exposed the better. The less time between moving the crosshairs to the target and actually firing the better as this reduces the effects of the bob that occurs when shooting the sniper rifles. When you move the rifle to the target it doesn't bob because you're controlling the movement; when you stop moving it, the simulated effort to keep the rifle steady causes the bob. It's the same way with rifles in real life more or less.

Oh, and as for team play, I remember specifically one night on Bog when you had the bomb right in front of you several times and you just camped. How many times did I have to shout in your ear while I was dead from trying to push the bomb to the site to pick that thing up and move it? Too many I think. Reflect on yourself before you go accusing. At TTP we could care less about your K

ratio or your score. We care about your effort on behalf of your team regardless of whether it's your first time or if you're a reg or even a reservist. As it stands, regs and reservists are held to higher standards, do get banned for non-teamplaying, and will get banned in the future for similar actions. The admins are on duty to do this and those of us who aren't admins thank them for keeping the asshats out. :5

Well I disagree....he's gotten some pretty bs shots off on me and some others....why would you turn your back to a guy 3 feet in front of you during combat to watch a corner 10 feet away...then prefire it as people walk around it quietly?

i just downloaded L4D 1&2 from Steam. i've only played the first one so far but whenever i start up a game, my volume is low. i check it on my desktop and it says the volume is at 1. i change it, once i new level starts up it goes back down to 1. this is a REALLY ANNOYING problem, more annoying than anything, i've never had this problem with any game before, but what's weird is when i go back into my volume settings, it has a faded marker where the volume WAS at. i run Windows 7 64-bit, i can post the rest of my specs if need be. i can live with this problem but it's just really annoying. thanks.
