So I have googled long enough.. found many solutions that nothing worked.. And also tried to do that verification of files thingy...

I bought l4d2 yesterday and was really excited , but when I tried it I saw transperent heads.. on the survivors :/

I have latest driver of my graphic card and on youtube there is videos where people use this graphic card and works fine..

I dont have much lag on the game overall just this problem which is very annoying when I see a hunter jumping on me from nowhere , and an invisible charger running towards me.. etc...

Hope someone could tell me how to fix this.. I have all textures on LOW I would like someone to tell me if I can replace the heads or somethin...

On No Mercy in l4d2 It works FINE and I see survivors head, but still not special infected heads.. I belive the old heads work but not the new ones Please help me.. I need help and im desperate..

I also had this problem with L4D2. I installed the latest video drives for my video card and that seemed to do the trick. Hope this helps!

Try installing the latest Graphics Drivers as previously suggested, but also try Verifying the Integrity of Game Cache in the Local Files tab of the Properties window of L4D2.

Go to:
C/Programs/Steam/Steamapps/Left4Dead2/left4dead2/CFG
Then, erase a file called "VIDEO.TXT".
