JB, it's much different than BF2 for sure.... Once you understand that you can shoot through walls, then you'll start shooting through every piece of metal or Plywood that you see. I'll try and shoot through these materials before entering a building or turning a corner. Plus, the better players have UAV's, so they know you're coming or at least know your location.

I'm loving this game!

That's a sigh of pleasure by the way folks, not a cry for help. I've just played my first game of L4D in over 3 months (Expert single-player on NM) and it was just about the best experience I've had in a long time (yeah, I'm living a very sad life at the mo where highs are few and far between). Got as far as the last level and got my ass served to me on a plate by the second tank (f'ing homing rocks, I swear), but hot damn it was good fun: nothing quite gets those latent L4D endorphins back into full flow like a running tank battle!

I hear a fair bit of bitching about L4D on the forum (I've done my share of it too), but I'm going to say this: if anybody doubts just how good this game is, give it a break for a few months and then come back to it.

(Incidentally, I've used parentheses 5 times in this relatively small post. I wonder if I should go and see someone about that?)
