I really doubt they're making you pay for regular stats like K^D. I think their marketing dept. Is smart enough to know you can't take away a game feature that has historically been free in previous games and start charging for it.

Id be willing to be a decent sum of money that its going to be features similiar to what steam offered in the left 4 dead PC version. IE: letting the player what map he does best on, favorite weapon and how effective he is with it and his K/D with that weapon. It also hints to a social networking aspect to it.

Now to those who are criticising them for charging for something "should be free" and are xbox live members, why are you paying for xbox live? You're paying for extra features, if you don't want them don't buy it - it doesn't change gameplay.

If they are taking away core stats, then I take back what I said, because it seems silly to make you pay for something that was just free, but ill look it as a good thing for me, personally. That's means my ocd side won't be worried about my K/D anymore

Activision just squeezes everything they own for money then toss it aside. Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk, World of Warcraft. It's utter bull. Screw Activision.
