Thread: Skins in CoD:4?

ok i was tramping the internets last night and came across some very nice MP skins (like a jet black SAW, custom camos, silver AKs, ect) (note: im not talking about making red dot ACOG scopes, putting 2+ attachments on a rifle, or my newly-coined term "mini-hax" ect. ect.)
So are these kind of "harmless" skins allowed in CoD:4?

well thats all of the good ones (i know that some of them require an "unpure" server (whatever the hell that is) or for the server to DL it, im just using those as examples)

Wouldn't these be considered hacks?

skins? theyre allowed in CSS arent they? im not talking about re-formating the gun, just making it look different. like a new custom camo. doesnt improve or negate gameplay at all. but if the admins dont wont it, that perfectly fine.
