Thread: COD4 and 1440x900

Ok so i got my new monitor, got the resolution changed to 1440x900 on the desktop just fine. but when i go ingame and try to change it from 1280x1024 to 1440x900 i get a DirectX Error. Can anyone help?

So i went to Activision's site and they said all you had to do is exit out of xfire when changing resolutions and it worked.

Hey, new to the forum guys, I'm a huge L4D fan.... and Hello BTW... a good friend of mine Chokki and myself are going to be doing playthroughs of custom L4DMaps.com campaigns. Yeah I know more playthrough videos but give it a shot, Chokki is somewhat entertaining, she enjoys playing L4D, (moslty xbox but I got her on PC now) she tends to get a lil scared playing the game and it makes for a fun playing experience, for me anyway, hopefuly that translates through the videos.
