Need Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to run my video at a higher setting. I didn't max it out so I know my vid cards can handle it and my monitor. Yet all I get is a box that rolls around a black screen and say input not supported. How can I get back to a lower setting without un-installing and re-installing. I can get on singleplayer no problem but not multiplayer. Any Ideas?

i think you can run cod4 on safe mode, but i cant seem to find any info on net.

i would boot Pc in safe mode, reinstall vid drivers and try it from there

That sounds like a vid driver issue... Make sure you have the latest drivers for your vid cards?

It only does it on the multiplayer on COD4. Everything else works fine including other games.

Summon beat me to it; I was typing the same thing. Before re-installing your drivers, though, see if starting the game in safe mode will allow you to alter the video settings in Multiplayer (if I understood your post to mean that you altered the settings in the game). If that's not what you meant, see Summon's suggestion.

Reinstalled drivers but didn't work. Will try safe mode next.

Ok, now I can't get this new puter to go into safe mode

. I don't want to reinstall and start all over again. I might as well quit playing first(damn why can't this game save stats like the BF games do). I even tried to find my stats on the computer to save them but couldn't find them.

Start the game, ctrl+alt+delete -processes-end process... I've had to do that before and I typically find it'll allow me to run the game in safe mode next loadup. Hope it works for your brink.
