    COD4 Changes

    Now first off let me say this is just my 2 cents and it might not accout for much, but being one of the regs on the server i have to say i do enjoy it alot and not being many what i call slap tards on it and alot of the other guys are regs as well. but my 2 cents is making some of the changes to me was a bad idea. now i am a active military and that being said i can say there is no such thing unless ya really want to get into the tech of it all is a UAV jammer, a UAV is more commen and easyer to use trust me in this one..but thats just a example..but i wouldnt mind also helping with the server if my 2 cents mattered, but Mr. White i totaly agree with alot of what u have said though it is TOTALY A TEAM PLAYER NO DOUBT.

    I understand the reasons for changing it back to normal mode, and I kind of agree. One of the biggest problems is not knowing who's talking. You'd think this would've been a requirement for a teamplay-heavy game. If CS:S/DoD:S can do this, why can't CoD4?

    The only thing I don't like about normal mode is probably the HUD. Too bad it can't be customized to not have a HUD. I've gotten used to not having crosshairs and I'm hoping it doesn't throw me off. I also like the realism it brings.

    Anyway, I don't think it'll affect overall game that much.

    a couple things that really piss me off about the regular game type is the damage a person can take for example you can take 5 MP5 rounds UP CLOSE and you can take 1 shotgun shell from about 5 feet away and walk away alive?that is the only problem that i have with Regular

    whelp, it suxors when a claymore doesn't kill, two 3 round burst to the chest won't kill, and the list goes on. Not digging the changes and prefer Hardcore for what it's worth.

    This is the main concern many people keep voicing about Regular mode.

    We are working on config tweaks that can help alleviate the ridiculous amounts of heath that regular mode gives players.

    HOWEVER, understand this very well, this change was not made to make players happy. It was not made to increase the server traffic. This change was made because fundamentally, the issue of Hardcore vs. Regular modes is one that strikes at the heart of TTP's ideals of Teamplay and Communication.

    How can you have teamplay without knowing where the hell your teammates are? Possible, yes, but not likely
    How can you have communication when you can't see who the hell is talking? Not easy nor probable.

    Texas Teamplayers is about Teamplay and Communication. Period. That is what makes us different then all the other punk ass pub servers out there. That is why you play here. And if that isn't why you like TTP's server... well rethink your position.
