Re: Someone.
Well, here's my review of it.
ArmA is a REALLY huge combat simulater for the PC. It is very realistic in forms of bullet drop, capturing towns and citys, Driving tanks, ect.
The maps are GIGANTIC. They are 400km big, and are littered with little towns and buildings all ovber the place. It could take almost 1/2 hour to drive across the map, in real time.
There are Jet's, which you can read about one in blah's article. They are very realistic, and they are very fun to fly through a Valley on full setiings.
The Graphics are Amazing, no matter whether you run them on full, or medium, or even low. It always feels good to fly through a valley and see every thing in picture perfect scences flow below you.
There are over 70 vehicles, and over 70 weapons in the game. Sniper Rifles, G36's RPG's, you name it. There are Tanks, Planes, Jet's, Helicopter's, Boats, anything that there is in real life. You name it.
If even this dosn't satisfy you, there is a AMZING number of mod's Addons, and extra's that are made by the community. From EVERYTHING. Missions, extra's. Just look at my thread, about addons.
And there is but one downside. Maybe more then one, but they are all easyly fixed. The VoIP Sucks hard in this game, giving off static, and all sorts of bad features. You can understand your teamates most of the time, but sometime it is just to hard to understand. There are outside Vouce clients though, so that can be remedyed.
Battle's can sometime be fastpaced, but normally they are not as facepaced as 2142 or Source games would be. This game is more about stratagy's and tactics, rather than the regular "Run 'n Gun" Attitude. But this is not a bad trait most of time.
There is many more things to be found in ArmA, but this is just a basic summery of it.
PHEW! There goes my whole Luch break!
Hope 'ya get it Mud!Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."
Langrad: "We're here to win, not to..."
Me: "Have fun?" "Hahaha"
