    Actuly, My guess is they is says 'the survivor's excaped' and then goes onto the next map with full health, that is why there are no health pack there :P

    There's 5 maps in a level. If you freelook enabled, you can really go past the safe room door, on the second level, and see what the next level looks like.

    And that's because of the demo =P

    You spawn back when the director wants you too. I've seen people not get spawned until almost the end of a scene and sometimes within a minute.

    Tip 1: when you're a survivor and I'm an infected, make sure you spread out nice and wide to "cover more ground"
