Thread: Interesting Glitch

So, i was playing on No mercy, on expert, the other night, and one of my team stumbled upon this neat glitch (Completely by accident)

We were on the rooftop finale, for the 5th or so time, and the person playing as francis died somewhere near the beginning. we made it to the roof top, with no other casaulties, and let him out of the closet he was in. he then said that he was glitched, and could only see the top of the roof of the building we were in, as though he were still dead. he tried Going idle then coming back, but it didnt work. he couldnt see his character, but could still control it(Though, he couldnt see where he was, and therefore made it hard for him to move) it was about this time, that someone thought it would be a good idea to shoot him. it was also about this time, that we learned that, somehow, someway, he had become invincible. no matter how many bullets they put into him, he wouldnt die. we decided to start the End of mission horde, and see what would happen. all the infected rushed in, and went straight for him. but, no matter how many times he was hit, he wouldnt die. he had every zombie on him, while we just picked them off while hiding in the closet. eventually the tank came, and it went straight for him to. The tank hit him everytime, but it didnt kill him, nor incapacitate him. we threw a molotov in the room, and just waited for the tank to burn to death (As he didnt change targets at any point.) even that didnt kill the Player, so we just hid back in the closet, and picked off the Infected as they went for him again. Again the tank came, and this time, the guy managed to get out of the building. We threw another molotov at the tank,catchign it on fire, but the tank went straight for the invincible player again. Eventually, the tank knocked him off the roof, but by then, the tank was on its last legs, and we finished it easily. the helicopter came, and we all got on it. We waited a few minutes, and then began to wonder why it wasnt leaving. i happened to look down, and it was then that i spotted the guy who had been knocked off the roof, somewhere in the building below. Some how, he had been teleported back to the safe house. it was also at this point that the tank arrived. i hid in the very back of the chopper, while the tank made short work of the guys up front. so, i was the only one alive, besides the guy below. the tank couldnt reach me, nor could he get on the chopper, so i easily killed it. at this point, i guess the timer or something ran out, as the chopper left, leaving behind the guy in the building below. he didnt die, because he wasnt listed in the "In loving memory of" section.

In a nut shell, somehow the francis character managed to aquire Super powers, and was immune to all damage, including being knocked off the building.

Just an interesting glitch that was stumbled upon.

That is a bit odd, I really don't think I've ever had anything like that happen...

turns out the infection has different effects on certain people giving them super human powers :10

Yeah, it all worked out in the end, minus the part where we got trapped on the helicopter by a tank, killing two of us :P

And this just after being accused of hacking?? Hmmm methinks one should reconsider ones high opinon
