    Uhoh

    about a week ago, i got the patch for CODWAW and now... I'm soundless. volume is up in the game, and i checked the sound options on vista. they are all full. i need help

    Got it.  The patch screwed up sound on Vista, or for some people anyways.
    I think you have to change it to 16 bit?  I'll double check.

    Yeah, here:
    start, configuration, sound, speakers, advanced -> set it to 16 bits - 44100/48000 hz

    yep..

    Start-Control Panel-Hardware and Sound-Sound-Click on the speakers you are using-Properties-Advanced-set to 16 bit 44100hz.
