Re: Suspicions continue......
I think some of you guys are forgetting who smoke is. He's always the first to call people out good or bad so why is this any surprise to any of you?
Although this probably wasn't the best place and time to post this discussion something bothered him so he brought it to public.
I will admit though smoke, it would be better to come out with names so it can be publicly addressed and taken care of. This makes things short and concise and doesn't give people the idea that their e-peens are bigger than they really are.
speaking of whichteam evo gets done rolling you
perhaps smoken is pissed because waddling around half the map going glug blub blub blub doesn't qualify him for ninja status
Someone who wants to 'keep L4D clean' and doesn't believe that the admins (of which you is not a part) can or will do their jobs and catch hackers. Who is so insecure in their own skills as to suspect anyone who is doing better then you as being a hacker.
Who believes that there are members of TTP and of resident clans that are hacking in L4D.
Ultimately everyone needs to chill out an remember why they play this game, and that's to have fun. I have respect for all TTP players but like some mentioned earlier this game seems to make tensions flare which is why I don't play it as often. I think if some of yall knew smoke as a person an as a friend you'd understand where he's coming from. Shit, he's even asked me personally if I hack.
Smoke is my boy an I'll defend him till its done.
But seriously, let the dick waving stop.. everyone gets "rolled" now and again.

It just drives off players, both established teamplayers and potential 'recruits'. And that ends up hurting TTP in the long run.

Re: Suspicions continue......
Took two posts neither of which have a fucking thing to do with this thread. I was here fighting battles keeping this place Sukka Free long before you ever heard of TTP, so its neat that you know some computer stuff and are an asset to TTP, thats great, but impress me, no, your response makes me laugh. "A high admin" ?
Ok so what is it that makes you an authority on what the rest of us our experiencing on L4D? Nothing, as i thought.
THREAD IS ABOUT BEING PROACTIVE AGAINST HACKING.
SECOND OF ALL I WILL BE L4D ADMIN SOON..... JUST PICKED UP THE GAME THIS MONTH. BUT WHAT DOES IT MATTER ADMIN CANT DO SHIT ON THE GAME, THATS THE FUCKING POINT. GET INFORMED BEFORE YOU LOOK STUPID.
THE POINT IS THAT ADMIN ARE WORTHLESS ON L4D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!
WORTHLESS, POWERLESS, so who are you again as pertaining to someone that has a clue about why i made this post. Insecure about skill? really thats the professional response you give to anyone in any game when dealing with hackers. Dont let your ignorance, escape due to your anger!!! You dont like me going all the way back to TTP get together last year, lol, i put up some pictures of you to include you in the TTP family and out of the 20 or so people and hundreds that enjoyed viewing them and others viewing them, you raise hell whining about it, saying i put your life in danger by putting up your pics. You have had it out for me ever since. So please stay out of my posts unless you have somthing beneficial to add. I dont give a shit who you are.
Back to the point, Admins are useless so COMMUNITY BEWARE AND RAISE OUR AWARENESS!

Short of HLTV, which currently does not play nice with L4D, there really isn't a good method for catching cheaters.

Just quote the whole thing!! I liked it better, oh, and i am not trashing our admins, although there are many on the list that i have never seen on the game the entire month i have owned it. It's the point that no admin can do anything do to the style of the game.
TTP ADMINS ARE GREAT, DUH, I AM ONE, THEY ARE JUST POWERLESS ON THE GAME OF L4D!!
There its spelled out!!

With L4D, it is very difficult for an admin to randomly join on a server that has a game currently going on it. Not that, once there, the admins are useless. However, the way L4D is set up, the admins have it going against them. Unless they're there to see it, or have been offered substantial proof of foul-play, there's not much they can do. So SMoken is asking us, the player base, to be vigilant in order to assist the L4D admins in doing their job. He's asking us, the citizens, to report to you (the L4D admins and highs), the cops, crimes we see happening on our streets, so to speak.

Re: Suspicions continue......
4 on 4 setup in lobby, with no admin, how can an admin have any clue that there is a hacker? They cant. TTP has a code of ethics, users are expected to help watch the servers. That's all smoken wants is everyone to be taking demos so that there is some evidence. He knows the game well enough to make the statements he is making. I think he is just looking out for TTP, and wants everybody's help.

You can join directly to a server using the browser. That's what I did back in the day. I might not have played with TTP people all the time when I was on TTP servers, but I did get to meet some interesting people.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
