Alwayas, and I mean always, try to split up your prey, and attack the loner.

Good teams ambush and delay the survivors over and over. Good smokers pull people back so the team has to backtrack. The longer the survivors spend trying to get through the more chances you get to hit them.

Find a tree or post just big enough to cover you from sight and very close to the survivors. Works every time

That's because generally it doesn't have to be something big enough to hide YOU... All it has to be is something so YOU don't have clear line of sight to all 4 survivors. Getting real close to a tree that's not big enough to hide your leg behind is good enough if you can't see all 4 survivors.

I've been noticing some teams spreading out their members juuust enough to thwart that type of spawn lately... but it's still a good bet that even small trees or groups of small trees will do the job.
