it's not volatile. It's just sorting the ranks based on connected players, and not average connections.

Maybe that is based on "right now" too, and not overall rank.

I think GRank is the number to look at there... I think... So many numbers...

right. you can tell, since all the the ranks are in order of the player count. If it was by actual rank...

then there would be servers that had players, that dind't, that were half full.....but still ranked by best average players. you can see our global, country, and city ranks if you scroll to the right when looking at TTP's gamemonitor pages.

there we are. Highest ranked TTP L4D server is 424th or so, in the US.

Yeah, noticed we were in the 1400s on the one I looked at.

Also, why does our server say ranked 0 with 0 players served every time I connect?

because steam is dumb? sometimes the rank comes up, but I'm sure it has to do with the steam servers not being able to handle whatever...

Steam can barely handle keeping a lobby from crashing... I'm surprised it comes up with anything at all some days, including playing the game.
