Right, why are people who do not own the game voting? I trust in their judgment but we have people voting who have not been on the server to witness any of the basis concepts on which this vote is taking place...

58 vote? What earth, we do not even have that many regs, and i assure you its clear who the regs are and what they voted for as seen by the votes, which are now inaccurate and tipped towards the opinions of those who are evidentially unaware of whats going on in the servers....

That is kind of the way I felt at first too, Bunni....but look at it this way.

The prizes are coming from TTP,as a community. They were not provided by us W@W players exclusively. What gets decided here will also affect the way future contests are run,so why not give everyone a voice? On top of that,it also takes away any feeling of bias. The decision is being made not only by people in the contest,but people outside as well....the TTP community as a whole.

I was a little ticked too when I started seeing people who do not play start to put their 2 cents in. But, after some thought,why not? Now,no-one can say that the decision was made exclusively by people with an interest in it. A neutral,third party voice,if you will. People with nothing at stake,other than upholding TTP's sense of fair play. I think,while not perfect,it was the best way to decide it. The admins have their interest,the players have theirs,and the TTP community has its interest...all together in one vote.

And Lucky.....Yes,Dusty has W@W. I've seen her,and her husband,Killdeer,both play from time to time....but not nearly enough.

even if it was CoD admins only, this vote would have turned out to extend.

the problem is not that people who do not have the game are voting or about them putting in their two cents. In fact i would prefer if everyone would put in their 5 cents. The problem is that people are voting with out researching the vote. Its the blithe ignorance that is tipping the scales away from those who are knowledgeable about the situation.

Could we not say that anyone with common sense could predict the out come of a vote to extend a contest that had to be paused and suspended for a week? If so, can we not say that the votes existence in of itsself implies another possible reason as to why the contest should not be extended. O.o

We have regs bringing up solid anti-extend points and remain unanswered yet we have 49 extend votes and not one counter point? Leads me to think that the majority of users voting are not researching their vote, after all theres been nothing to suggest other wise.

Comeon guys, if your going to vote, research!
