They are usually pretty good if you are used the WASD layout.

    With one exception:
decouple the "hold breath" button (default: mouse 2) from the "zoom in" button (also default mouse 2). That way you don't find yourself suffocating when you're zooming in/scoping in with right mouse button.

2nd tip: Go to game options and turn down "head bob" to a level you are comfortable with. The head bob is very nice and realistic but throws a lot of newbies off/causes motion sickness (plus it requires you to hold your breath a la AA to get shots in if it's not 0).
When I click the right mouse button, it aims down the sites, I have to press "+" to zoom in. Is this what it's supposed to do. When I click it, it doesn't seem like he's holding his breath either....

The scroll wheel button reloads, is that what it's supposed to do?
R is supposed to be reload as far as I remember. If you did the steam download I think it has the key layout in the pdf manual you can download from the game manager screen.

Clicking the right mouse button snaps into sights/scope. If you press and hold the right mouse button though, it will hold breath and zoom in by default without snapping into your sights. Only a quick click of the right mouse button will bring up sights.

When selecting mouse wheel options you can click the mouse wheel down to select the option rather than hit the fire button. This keeps you from accidentally shooting anyone or anything.

    Re: Look what I did!

So I got up early this morning and got into an online game. It immediately told me that I was the artillery 2 leader and the emergency medic guy or something rather. Anyhow, i was trying to ask people in game but nobody would answer me as to where I was supposed to be to man the artillery. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks.

If you were playing on TTP a few of the missions have an artillery designator who goes to the front lines and directs the AI artillery where to fire. Most of the ones we have require you gain a little rank before using artillery (so that noobs dont tk with arty in the base) which can be gained by completing missions etc.

As far as the medic, not sure it shouldn't be that multirole.

Many of the other servers use Teamspeak/Vent only and do not use the game voip so if you were trying to use that it may be why they didnt answer. If you were typing, make sure you were in the correct channel, since the voice and the text in game use the same channel ( , and . keys to change).

There are only two maps. Chenarus and Utes.

The best priming missions are Domination Ranked and Evolution USMC.
