    The spitter...

The spitter is AWESOME. Definitely my favorite new infected, probably my favorite Infected including the originals! What are y'alls favorite infected now that we've had some time with the finished version of L4D2?

Far and away, Jockey. Little bastard's quick and just as good as the smoker at disrupting the survivors. Ride someone off a 30 foot roof, ride them into a pool of spit, ride them next to a boomer, keep them in the path of a charger... possibilities are nearly limitless. And god help them if you're able to get down a corridor before they shoot you off. I forced a team of survivors to backtrack almost a full quarter of a map to go pick up Rochelle after she finally went down after I took her for a ride. Talk about screwing the survivors.

    Spitter

    Because
    1) AOE damage - in a finale we incapped three survivors at once due to her
    2) Prevents turtling / god-spots
    3) Great at delaying the survivors to buy time for the other SI to spawn in, either by blocking the forward path or by preventing incapped survivors from being picked up

Jockey comes next due to reasons other people have mentioned

Spitter, because she is a game changer. Total new tactics for both Coop and Vs.

NO more BS god spots, no more turtling

    Re: The spitter...

I disagree with the spitter being the game-changer. A charger can disrupt god-spots just as easily, and potentially cause a incap easier as well. Spitters are great at forcing the survivors to move out of the way, but if they aren't otherwise impeded (like being boomed, or stunned, or whatever), they'll probably all clear out before they take more than 10-15 damage. A charger hitting the entire survivor team is guaranteed to cause at least 25 damage to his victim (impact+first slam), some collateral damage to whoever else he bowls through (I think it's like 5 or 10), and by time the teammates recover, it's entirely possible he'll have gotten another two slams off before they can bring him down. At 15 damage a slam, that's a lot of damage.
