    Re: Scavange Mode

I reallllly enjoy scavenge. Teamwork is used (communication, strats) and this teamwork is needed at all times. No wandering off by yourself even to get the closest of gas cans. Strats are planned out under pressure, using quick thinking. Should i spit on a downed gas can, or stop them from putting 2 others in? How far is this gas can from its spawn point? So many quick decisions need to be made, the game can get very intense very fast. A split second can make or break a game. An extremely fast paced versus game, with even more excitement than usual.

    Re: Scavange Mode

Like Frag said, we went on a binge of Scavenge on Friday. I thought it was really fun, kind of to L4D2 in general what Crash Course was to L4D1 VS - short and sweet instead of fun but long. I'd play with good pubbers and TTPers, although we got rolled in a game Team Scavenge, probably because those kinds of teams practice with each other like crazy.

Personally, I think Atrium or Plank Country are the hardest scavenge maps (that I've played so far) because of size for the former and low visibility/complexity for the latter. In Atrium, difficulty is doubled because Spitters have an entire floor full of cover right above the car that is inaccessible to survivors, and can pretty much spit indefinitely.

It's a very fluid game mode - you can do a lot of things and still win, unlike the L4D1 VS maps and Survival mode.
