    If someone from US gifts you L4D2, you will get the normal version. Thats what everyone was doing on the steam forums the night l4d2 came out. This MAY have been fixed, but buying a retail copy of the US version should have the same effect regardless

    You will play on the normal servers if you get the australian, but there are more problems with the Australian version than just whats on those youtubes. For example, Riot Cops will NOT spawn if you are in the server on an australian version and you are playing with US players. There are more problems than that, making it so that people in US do not want to play with Australian players and will votekick one if they find them. I have no doubt that riot cops have not been fixed, but these 'other problems', may have been. Since I never saw these for myself, I'm not sure what they are....

    Am I the only one that finds it absolutely ass backwards that the US will allow more graphic/adult content than Australia?

    couldnt this be an advantage in multiplayer? Since you can use a melee weapon without the massive amounts of gore covering your screen.
