mic issues

Same, mine works fine in mumble, but in any source game its garbles everyones sound (too much gain, and I can not lower it).

Need to turn the Mic Boost off of your Windows settings. Steam games seeme to be screwy in their settings.

Try downloading those drivers and installing. Just running setup.exe will remove the one you have and install the latest. Or so the readme says.

k so nothing worked so i went and got a usb headset and mic

it works in steams voice test but not in l4d2 voice test i got it to work in lobby with broken ape last night but once we were in game it stopped again...this is getting frustrating.
