i wish you could only invite those with the game... would help alot. or somekind of "hey im looking for invites" or 'I dont want no damn invites'

I've wanted a grouping ability for Steam for a long time... I would group my friends by game (Or hell, get steam to do it :9)

well the new beta UI tracks and displays which of your friends own the game and even which are currently playing it, however you cannot see this information in the invite friend form

If they are in the group, they'd best have the game.

But yeah it would help if when you set yourself "away" for instance, it would just ignore invites.

haha How can you leave Steam on all day and not expect to have a bunch of messages? Understandably there should be some order to send out an invite for one game, but the multiple reminders being sent out for one invite is screwy. I tried searching for a fix/reason, but have come up empty-handed.

Lol, I just thought about what you said and now all the posts that say:
"I came back from work and had 20 messages on my screen!"
are just going to make me "LoL!".
