    New game modes?

    Buried at the bottom of an announcement about a midweek deal on the full version of Left 4 Dead 2—it's just $24.99 USD on Steam, $33.99 USD for Xbox 360 on Amazon, by the way—is a rundown of The Passing's features, including more than one new game mode. The rest of the new additions—new weapons, the new Fallen Survivor uncommon common infected, a run in with some of the original Left 4 Dead survivors—are already known. New gameplay modes, presumably adding to Survival, Scavenge, and Versus, have not yet been specified by Valve.

    Obstacle mode or something of the sort. I enjoyed playing the custom maps that tested skill of infected in L4D, why not make it a bit more competitive? Maps that challenge reaction time, skill with a certain class, and training/tactic suggestions you have to pull off (such as hunter training)? Timing with pulls, charges, booms (length as well as timing), spits, pounces and jocks. Everyone could use a little more help in these things. How to hit survivors when damage pouncing from great heights. Pull, jock, and charge through a small window and connect with the target.

    Just something along the lines of all out training maps for all the classes in different situations.

    maybe some variation of race. 2 teams race to get to the saferoom the fastest.

    I'd rather they fix the ridiculous number of glitches and exploits in the existing maps, fix Versus mode balance, and fix the goddamned fucking hit detection on Chargers before adding in MORE crap that will inevitably have dozens of bugs that won't get fixed because they're busy stroking off TF2

    Yea the charger and jockey issues need to be addressed. Really sucks when a dead on charge misses... :3

    That is where some training maps could come in handy >.> Maybe they won't change the hitboxes, but we would be able to get used to the weird hitboxes if we had more practice with them. :2

    Ignoring all of the off-topic-ness above me, I think it would be cool to see a sort of survival versus mode, obviously with some sort of auto kicking AFK players, to avoid an eternal game.

    There was mention of an idea of a double co-op gamemode... where you have two separate teams of 4 Survivors each working to reach the escape area or something... where one team has to help the other by like throwing switches or whatever. Sounded kinda neat.

    It'd be awesome if they made a Survivor "red rover" have a wall of zombies and they have to go back and forth between Point A and B, each survivor for hims self... OH or a 4 on 4 Soccer match between Infected and Survivors.... OR ZOMBIE ICE HOCKEY!!! OMG ZOMBIE Curling!! No wait... That'd be gay.
