Thread: Great l4d vids

As someone said in one of the comments, L4D isn't one of those games that needs frag videos. The only thing that seperates one from the next is editing, plus everything in a frag video happens every day in every match in almost every map. Nothing special or unique really ever comes from a frag video where I am gasping at how amazing it is because I see it every time I play. Cool videos and fun to watch of course, but there isn't anything exciting in any of them.

Since you don't know me I won't laugh at you or derail this thread, but almost all of those high pounce videos are recorded in a public game with a bunch of idiots on the other team. You are right in saying I can do this stuff all the time (although I believe you are being sarcastic) if I am trying to make myself look good. I can get all of those any time in a pub too, I just don't put them on a video site to prove it. All in all, the videos are entertaining and people should continue to post their favorites for enjoyment and learning new things or spots in game.

Play in a competetive game and try to get most of these, you will die or be deadstopped. Of course you can get lucky and land them here and there, but the skill of getting these doesn't matter if the skill on the survivor team is better. Just saying.

Edit - For things that happen almost all the time, I was referring to survivor rescues or dead stops and such, plus the co-ordinated infected attacks. High pounces had nothing to do with my idea of a frag video.
