As a note, if you add someone through the real ID (using an email) then they will receive a request for friendship, however if you use character add (name and #) they will be added to your friends list but you will not appear on their list. Both parties have to add for that to work.

Probably something to add to the OP.

Strongly recommend people "break" their email addresses in the forum posts. Use emailaddress (at) domain (dot) com instead of the complete article. Not sure if search engines that scammers and spammers like to use still operate, but it never hurts to be safe.

I haven't actually checked to see what my number is. I'll update when I get it.

Also.. keep in mind that adding by email gives your real id. For those that wish to remain gamer-anonymous, better to post your player name and number
