Damn, SC2 is an angry game

Just skimmed through all the pages... interesting.

This is my first RTS and it has been fun so far, but I really have just been playing custom games with friends. You are all too good for me, so add me and teach me something! I need to be raping you all within a few weeks. blitzkriegcss@live.com

If your using these forums to determine that SC2 is an angry game, then you're gonna get skewed results. Most of the rage on this forum is from PizzaShark's whining. Take him out and everyone is actually pretty pleasant.

Here are some links to the ultimate resource in learning SC2, the Day9Daily. A great little show about learning Starcraft by a guy known as Day9. Good lessons, but some good ones to watch for newer players are:

I would watch them in that order instead of episode order. The bigger concepts are covered first in my order and more of the finer points are in the later ones. If you are light in time, just watch #132 and #163. Those 2 cover most of the important things and are good to watch for everyone. These don't cover strategy, but instead focus on mechanics which are important (strong mechanics will allow more strategies).
