Thread: SC2 freeze on startup issue!

Hiya all,
I've got this issue with starcraft 2. I installed it and when I start it up, my computer goes black screen and freezes up and I have to hold the power button to turn it off.

My drivers are all updated.

My video card is a nvidia geforce gtx 260m with 1gb ram, processer is an intel core 2 duo with 2.53 ghz processors (chips?), and i've got 6gb of RAM. running windows vista 64 bit, everything is completely updated drivers included.

I tried reinstalling but that didn't fix the issue... thoughts on where to start?

I have the same processor and same graphics card, only I have Windows 7 64 bit. I just got this problem starting today. There is no sound looping either.

Try disabling your antivirus. I disabled my Spyware Doctor by PC Tools and it worked. None of my games worked while that was running. L4D, L4D2, SC2, CSS, CSCZ, etc.
