Re: Anyone want to form a 2v2 team?
I usually go speedling/roach in the beginning and go with a spire instead of a hydralisk den. Hydralisks are way too slow off creep, way too fragile, and get absolutely obliterated by Colossi, Siege Tanks, and High Templar... all of which you can expect to see in the later stages of a team game. Mutalisks provide modest AA protection (Corruptors are much better), really deny expanding (especially combined with speedlings), and do alright in dogfights with some Corruptors supporting them. You can morph Corruptors into Brood Lords late game to break sieges.
I still make Roaches periodically to give myself a ground presence as well, and if I see reason to, I can also add in Banelings. It's very gas-intensive, but speedlings easily deny expansions in the short term, and I typically play very aggressively - I push out with 5 roaches, about 8 speedlings, and whatever my partner can provide (usually about 8-12 marines) and expand the second we start heading out. If the push doesn't kill them outright (marines are incredible DPS if they aren't getting shot at), it usually cripples them sufficiently to allow us to expand or tech safely. He often goes for cloakshees while I power drone and start working towards mutas (while continuing to pump lings and the occasional roach or two.)

Re: Anyone want to form a 2v2 team?
if you still havent found someone you know im always down for 2s
although i still kind of suck right now, i hope to be much better in the next few weeks. i still need a better understanding of the game, including build orders, hard and soft counters, map specific strats, race match up specific strats, better micro and macro skills, and a host of other things.
but eventually i want to play in all modes... 1s 2s 3s and 4s. although we typically find ourselves playing in 3s and 4s because there's always so many people on.I broadcast gaming videos on Twitch TV and my finished videos are on YouTube! Recently I shoutcasted the Counter Strike Tournament at PAX Prime 2012!
