So we had a few people come and go on the other team but our team was consistent when I got there and as survivors we were getting our ASSES handed to us. BADLY. We died within the first 20% of the first map, and were nearly dead by the first 20 FEET of the second map.

I said something that I think EVERYONE that's reasonably new should know and take to heart here... "The difference between a shitty team and a good team is how fast they get the SI off of each other. And we aren't doing good at all right now."

It was like a light switch flipped. We damn near made safe room every map thereafter. And this was realism. Making safe room on coaster level of dark carny is tough when it's NOT realism sometimes. We wound up winning by around 1000 points from looking like we were going to lose by more than that.

So those on my team... 'grats on pulling it together and realizing that priority number one is making SI dead before anything else. Without that, it would have been a much different game. To the other team... Sorry for the asswhuppin. You were getting reasonably good coordination on attacks at times but this team just sort of gelled when we needed it the most. I know your team was full of newer players as well, but there were two players on each team that I would call "seasoned" and it really was up in the air the first two maps.

Towards the end it probably wasn't a lot of fun for the opposition, but my team... Damn fine job.
