either the server needs to be updated or my steam isnt auto updating

Freeze trap feels fine to me, but I could see increasing the hold portion and decrease the slow time afterwards. So same total duration, just different proportions of hold to slow.
Assassin is weird because her best role right now is pushing lanes, but other classes can do that just fine with much better survivability. Assassins auto lose any fight to a tank and have a hell of a hard time against supports and snipers using frost traps. They feel a bit nebulous as to what they should do. Right now sins just push lanes and fight other sins well. This is part of a bigger problem with the game. Classes feel like they could use some tweaks to solidify roles because everyone seems good at everything with some slight variance. The biggest culprit to me is support. With Gold skill recharge, silver RoF (can swap depending on tastes), and bronze armor, he feels all around amazing at everything.

Given that an assassin can instantly recloak as they're jumping, and do it so quickly that the sniper can't always see what way they're coming from, smoke jumping isn't really too dangerous a feat. It helps separate the good assassins from the bad. And given the fact that you can JUMP over freeze traps alot of the time, AND charge through them and instantly grapple the sniper regardless of the fact that you're frozen, really laughs in the face of the thought that freeze traps make an assassin's job risky when going after snipers. Freeze traps should only last roughly a half second on assassins, and the slow should come off very quickly. Assassins should be stopped dead in their tracks mid charge if they get frozen, nor should they be able to grapple while rooted. A small delay on being able to grapple after a charge would be nice too, but its slightly unnecessary and a bit 'quality of life' esque, good snipers are often unscoped and will see assassins charging at them and jump to avoid the grapple.
And really, given assassin charges, cloak, and smokebomb, its really hard to call alot of situations dangerous unless you refuse to use those abilities, in which case you deserve to get shit on.
Supports are Definitely over the top with their shotgun at close range, they shouldn't be able to outgun essentially every class at close range and two shot even a gold armor 3/3/3/3 tank. The range on the shotty should be increased a bit, but damage toned down. Turret's damage needs to scale down over range like every other classes guns (except sniper), and needs to take a bit more damage from some of the classes at mid range (While still being relatively unkillable if a support is healing it)
