    Installing LFD2 on Laptop!

I finally said, "Fuck it!" and bought LFD2 on my own account. No more having to race up to my brothers room to get the last spot in the lobby Let's just pray to god my videocard supports this game. I had my brother look over the minimum requirements and he said I should be fine. So excited to play this game whenever I want now.

ETA- 4 hours! Hopefully I'll see some of you smucks tonight.

depending on the specs, it should be fine (I have it running on a 2 year old laptop just fine, with a shitty processor to boot).

My graphics card is definitely the shittest part of my laptop, but I just bought this thing 2 months ago.

    Intel(R) HD Graphics
    NVIDIA GeForce 310M

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 370 @ 2.40GHz
    4.00 GB (3.79 GB usable)
    Windows 7 64-Bit

I just bought this game too, except I've NEVER played it yet. Planning on getting some time in tonight on single player or co-op until I understand it a little bit. Any suggestions?

    CPU looks fine.
Looks like you have dual video cards, (unless this is automatic) you'll want to tell your laptop to use the nVidia card. You might have a switch/button on your laptop somewhere that says "performance mode" or maybe it's an option you have to change down in the system tray (icons on taskbar near clock).

    Re: Installing LFD2 on Laptop!

Wow just went down to my control panel and there is a "NVIDIA Control Panel" Icon.

    Under "Adjust video image settings:

    Edge Enhancement:
    -Use the video player settings
-Use the NVIDIA setting (meter with (-) & (+) at 0% right now)

    Noise Reduction:
    -Same options as Edge Enhancement.

    Deinterlacing
    -Use inverse telecine (check box?)

What should I do for these settings?

Under "Manage 3D settings" I changed my preferred graphics processor to "NVIDIA processor".

Then there is a program settings options. Do I want to do anything with that?

    Any help is much appreciated.

If your card is not good enough for L4d2 there's usually a setting where you can change it from quality -> performance in nvidia settings
