Thanks for all the time and effort you poured into this tourney and the previous tourneys. I still remember that l4done tourney where we had about 8 teams for the weekend, we ended up having 4 random teams that played through. I still had fun.

Nicely done. Also congrats to all the players who committed to play and stuck with it to see it through - it would have fizzled if the players didn't step up.

My only grip is that the intitial bracket looked very top-heavy.

It was... and I worried that it would look set up to be that way. But like I told anyone that asked, it was totally random. I still have the quick and dirty program I wrote to determine the bracket should anyone want to see the source. I was honestly wanting to see the semi-final match that wound up being a 50 point game be the finals, and if either team had been in the bottom bracket I'm sure that's how it would have went down. But I can't say I was disappointed with our (Knee's) team's showing against what I had as the top ranked team in the finals. We were even winning after map 2 so...

But if I can solidify this league concept every team will play every other team at least once. So that heavy/light bracket issue will be a moot point.

One thing that wasn't random though... was the map selection. I chose parish as the semi final map and hard rain as the finals map for a reason. Parish bridge has a way of changing a score rather drastically at times. I wanted teams to get to the bridge and even if there was a score gap, they'd have a chance. The same goes for the hard rain cane field jaunts. Two trips through that cane field on realism can make or break a team even if they are ahead by a bunch.

Well the bits and pieces i saw were great Kanati I have to say this was defiantly one of the most successful tournaments I have seen at TPG

1. I would like to do another HoDub vs TBD game sometime, only on No Mercy.

2. What is this league thing you guys have been talking about? I don't think I've seen a proposal for it anywhere.
