Thread: Getting back into the game (L4D2)

Hey, just wanted to mention that I am home from college for the summer and will therefore be able to rejoin my old friends in some L4D2.

My girlfriend surprised me with the game for my birthday and I am quite excited.

In the meantime, how about some tips?
(I am a L4D1 vet, so i don't need the rigamarole about sticking together and etc.)

Like what the hell is a spitter? (a surprised gf?)

I have read the tutorial and understand the basics of the new tactics (the boomer bile nade seems neat), but need to know how these are actually being employed in game.

as survivor-
simple: shoot zombies. win game.
complex: holy shit zombies. shoot em in the head. win game.

as infected: just play and you will pick up on the good spots, then its all spawning as a team.

people over complicate this simple game...
