Sorry Max. But someone leaving just because they are tired of getting raped, to ME, is not acceptable. Even if they DO get a replacement. It's better than just saying "fuck this I'm outta here", but it's still a bitch move to make. It's like the lead singer in a rock band walking off stage in the middle of a concert and pulling someone from the audience to replace him. Who knows how well the audience member is going to do; possibly better than the lead singer... probably worse... but then again... who cares? The lead singer signed up to do the show. And then he bailed.

I've personally seen you do that once and only once. That's fine... everyone wants to say "fuck this shit" once or twice. Follow through with it once. But ANYONE that makes a habit of it will unapologetically stop getting invites from me.

And I don't know how you can trivialize a ragequit in a game like this where it totally screws a team. As has been said before, someone RQing from BF2 where the team consists of 30 other members, it not a big deal. One where the team consists of 4 players is a different matter entirely. I played a game yesterday where 3 people dropped and were replaced. It changed the outcome of the game. And those were amiable player swaps. The game ran WAY too long and players had to leave. Someone ragequitting can also change the outcome of a game through demoralization of his/her team.

Again... All of the above is based on what you said about leaving to go play BC2... being tired of getting raped... etc. NOT real life issues... ping... baby problems... kids setting fire to the living room... Nobody is going to have a problem with real life interfering with a game. If real life has to be dealt with then deal with it. But raging is far from a "can't we just get along" issue.

Rage quitting is a different subject, I'm simply stating based on the leaving early thread. I've always been a super strong advocate against ragequitting - hell you held onto that "supastar" rage quitter fucker way longer than anyone trying to prove some moral point? I was referring to a simple case of leaving early, "if I am playing L4D2 with you and I leave to play BC2 I'm an asshole for doing so. Well maybe. Or maybe I just had a bad day and don't feel like sticking around to get raped." read this again and you'll see its based on extraneous external influences. Trust me I hate people rage quitting more than most of you all - raging due to losing is sad and inconsiderate... My reference to leaving because they didnt feel like getting raped is very very thin excuse of "Shit day at work, dont need more shit - think of it as the only caveat where leaving due to high stress is allowed - as far as I'm concerned I'm here for a good time and don't need people telling me what I can or can't do...

So again I'll say I'll get a replacement, if I leave early. Thats courtesy.

And a side note how many people have seen me leave early to play another game Let me assist you all 0, because I always allot enough time to play.

Also Kanati my 1 and only RQ was due to massive amounts of fuck this due to training for comp and not succeeding (I had Hurricane Bomber replace me). Trust me the following hour I would've made Smoken, Wraith and Thors harshest moments seem like Kittens Spats.... I saved you from an hour of overtly aggressive rage fest that I personally get like when competing, as I am naturally an obnoxiously competitive person. Thats real courtesy being a big enough man to know when to leave before pounding some dumbass in the face in a bar...

We all have limits, push me to mine I'll make sure that I save any silly moments of heated discussion by stepping aside.

Besides if someones continuously raging they find themselves friendless pretty quick in our community.

To Summarize Kanati you're right and wrong. Right RQ is unacceptable, Wrong about the context.
