blitz i got you , but unless we can somehow disable events or find away to stop auto minimization it may be a cross you have to bare.

to say it should be a ban able offense to try to get a game going on TPG servers is laughable. Unless you just have some one spamming the hell out of you for no other reason then to do it. even then its not a TPG issue that we could enforce. hell Savage spammed the crap out of me last night wasnt even putting words just mashing letters, so he is no longer on my friends list. nor will he ever be again that's how i roll.

besides I would like to point out so painfully obvious logic, if events puss you off leave the group and if people post an event can they please put their name in the title...

I don't agree it should be a bannable offense, but I think if we make groups like this that we can take away the ability for players to schedule events and only post announcements so stupid things like that won't happen.

I rdp into my home computer from work and yes I can see steam messages. I can sometimes even respond to them. I might, at times, even tell you why I can't play. MAYBE. But I'm gonna pimp-slap the next person that accuses me of ignoring their invites while I'm trying to debug some multi-threaded server monitoring code or dealing with a server that's currently on fire and in the process of melting down.

I'm at work from 9am to roughly 6pm CST every night. Sometimes later. Very rarely earlier. I do not have steam on my machine at work. I cannot play games while I'm at work. And my machine here at work doesn't even have a video card that could run L4D even if I could. I have pool league on wednesday nights until at LEAST 8:30pm CST. And friday nights I sometimes hit a movie (like tonight with Green Lantern) and probably won't be home until midnight CST. I also hit the sack between midnight and 1am... so I hardly EVER start a game after 10:30CST. That leaves a nice window of about 7pm CST to 10:30pm CST for STARTING games... and responding to invites to said games.

You all can look at my on-the-servers game-time and tell... I play the game. A LOT. So if you want me to play, invite me in those weeknight time windows or on the weekend some time. But don't get yer nose bent out of shape if I ignore you during the day. I'm likely not staring intently at steam waiting for invites to games. I'm likely working.

(and all you bastiches that KNOW this already... Max... Frost... Thorsen... My pimp-hand has been needing to be exercised lately... Don't make me use it.

I know exactly what Kanati's usual work hours are....I choose to invite him every once in awhile just to mess with him lol
