Spawn Distances
We made a change to shrink the finale spawn distances from 600 units to 300 units. In this week's poll, let us know what you think. We have tested this change heavily but if you find any oddity with a Community Campaign or our own campaigns, please let us know.

They increased it a while ago so I thought 300 was back to normal. Cripes if 150 was normal and they moved it to 600, that was a hell of a jump. 300 sounds good though. DC and NM actually sound like fun finales to play now.

The 300 spawn distance seems like normal from what I can tell. Just played Darny, and it just doesn't make a huge difference there, because when you're playing that top spot the only places you can spawn are the same places. That building to one side, and behind the corner on the other....plus the bottom by the entrance. There're just no obstructions closer than them, which is why the Darny finale is so wierd. It's the rare game where the first tank doesn't get beaten, and it's not rare to see people make the chopper like it is on the bridge or NM, and nowhere near as rare as people actually gassing up the car in the mall.
I think the better spawn distances will have more of an effect on NM than they will on Darny, since there are decent obstructions in NM that you can hide behind and pop out of.
