They did have the spawn ratio fixed on it's own at first, but the finale was still exceptionally easy in the right stands, because there wasn't really anything close enough to it to take advantage of the better spawn distances. Better spawn distances made a good difference on No Mercy, but made little to no difference on Dark Carnival.
That being said, they did add a few too many spawn points. Just allowing the SI to get behind those fences behind the stands would've been good enough, or just adding the covered tents, but to do both was a little bit of overkill.

That is actually a really cool idea. Switch up finale prop spawns how they do the consumable and throwable spawns.
I think the update is just fine. It should be difficult but not impossible- which is how its set up now. First they need to apply a health bonus system which deducts points for each health pack, pills, shot, molotov, bile, and pipe bomb used.
