Ok let me clear this up... This is a publicity stunt by IPL. They are ONLY using him to spread eSports to a more mainstream audience. It is really bad because all these sports networks will think badly of eSports if he brings home bad results... WHICH HE WILL...

He said he is a platinium league player. I applaud him for going to try his hand at it and spreading the idea. But ultimately I think this was a stupid idea by the IPL staff....

Gordon has cleared it up multiple times that he is still a pro basketball player and not anywhere near the level of the sc2 pros.... You can probably check out IGN Pro League - Professional Video Game eSports Tournaments for more details...
