    Tank Play!

I've been meaning to ask. Is there a difference in Tank play when comparing Confogl and RVS. When we play Tank in RVS, we rarely sit back and throw rocks and wait for the other three SI to hit. We will wait for an immediate Boomer and then go in with or without it.

Compared to Confogl where the Tank will sit back for sometimes 20 minutes, while throwing rocks and having the SI slowly widdle the Survivors down. Now here's the catch. I have seen some players try to play the Tank this way in RVS and it does not have the same effect as when playing confogl. Are there shorter SI spawns in RVS? Less Tank rage? On paper it seems smarter to sit back with Tank and get rock hits, while the other SI get spawns and either have them chip away or wait for a 3-cap and have the Tank go in, get a SV down and then have the 3 SI move in for the last 3.

It seems that you can't play Tank this way in RVS. It just doesn't work, but it is my opinion that this is the smarter move. What do you guys think?

The main things that cause the different feel is:

    A) No medkits. It's easier to whittle down SV HP and let them bleed out over a long tank in confogl, in RVS they can be whittled down repeatedly and simply heal back to full.

    B) Tier 2's. Tier 2's/Multiple sniper rifles makes it a lot easier to chip the fuck out of a long tank in RVS.

    C) RVS common are much more dangerous during tank. A boom and 2 caps in RVS is often better than 3 caps, in confogl it is not. So often times if a good boom can be made in RVS it's best to just go in with it rather than risk not getting a good boom later.

    Re: Tank Play!

Also tank health in Confogl is close to that of normal VS mode, unlike in realism where it is close to that of expert mode.

The tank has a meter that will not reduce as long as line of sight is maintained in confogl. In Realism VS you must do damage.....

+ all of what thorsen said.

Sorry, then I must be confused with additional mods on top of the default confogl configs......
